Just when you think you've heard and seen it all, a discovery like this happens. You can now hear the very, very first recordings of Hank Williams. This 3-disc collection features the recently discovered 1938 acetate recording of a 15-year-old Williams performing "Fan It" and "Alexander's Ragtime Band" in a kitchen studio of a Montgomery, Ala. , DJ back in 1938! Years before he revolutionized country music, this is Hank as a Depression-era kid and musician entertaining to make a buck. Plus it was recorded on an ultra-rare 60 RPM acetate! But that's not all! Also discovered and saved were 4 recordings from 1940 and 8 15-minute radio shows called the •Health & Happiness •shows for a cure-all known as Hadacol. All of it has been painstakingly restored for the best possible audio quality.
